Service scope
BrushLLM provides an OpenAI-compatible API that sends requests to the selected model service and returns its response. Upstream providers run the models. Available models, parameters and features are listed in the console and documentation.
Image Studio, Video Studio and Player can be downloaded separately. A free desktop app may still use a paid API for some features.
Accounts and API keys
Register with an email address you can access. Keep your account and API keys secure; do not put keys in public repositories, browser code or messages to untrusted recipients. Use the console to set limits and disable keys.
If a key leaks or you see unexpected usage, disable the key and contact us promptly. We will help investigate. Usage already incurred is not automatically reversed because a key was exposed.
Top-ups, usage and prices
The API uses a prepaid USD balance. Text models are billed by tokens and image models by generated images. Check the console for the applicable rate and billing unit; the website catalog provides reference prices.
Pay-as-you-go use needs no subscription, and prepaid balances do not expire. Before buying a subscription, check its price, allowance, renewal and cancellation rules. Price changes apply to future usage, not charges already settled.
Refunds and billing questions
Within 7 days of each successful top-up, you may request a refund of its unused balance. BrushLLM covers payment and refund processing fees. See the Refund Policy for the application process and subscription rules.
For duplicate charges or billing errors, send the order number, time and relevant request IDs. Do not email complete API keys or card details.
Use of the service
Only submit text, images and files you have the right to process. Follow applicable law and the selected upstream service’s usage requirements. Do not use the service to break into systems, steal data, commit fraud or disrupt service.
Do not bypass permissions, spending limits or rate limits. We may suspend affected keys or accounts to address abuse or security risks and, where appropriate, explain the reason and help investigate.
Content and model output
Submitting content to BrushLLM does not transfer ownership to us. Use of model output remains subject to applicable law and the model provider’s terms. Each desktop app’s LICENSE file sets out its code licence.
Model output can be inaccurate, outdated or similar to output given to others. Check it before publishing, running generated code or making important decisions. It is not a substitute for professional advice.
Availability and changes
Maintenance, network failures, upstream limits and model changes can cause failures, delays or feature changes. We do not guarantee that every request will succeed or offer an uptime commitment without a separate agreement.
Material changes affecting continued use will be explained on the website or in the console. Contact us with the request records if a problem affects billing.
Stopping use and closing an account
You can disable keys, cancel subscriptions and request account closure. Closing an account does not extend the 7-day refund request period. Eligible balances are handled under the Refund Policy.
If access is restricted for security or misuse, billing and refund questions are still reviewed separately. See the Privacy Policy for how account information is handled.
Updates and your rights
We update the date on this page when these terms change. Changes to charges, refunds or use restrictions will be explained on the website or in the console. Refund requests already accepted follow the rules applicable when accepted.
These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limit your statutory rights. Please contact our support address first if a dispute arises.
